Independent buyer-side sourcing

Custom Running Socks Built From a Comparable Buyer Brief

Tell us the sock height, fiber composition, cushioning zones, size system, pair quantity, pack basis and US destination. We help business buyers identify possible factories and compare quotations on one defined scope.

We are an independent sourcing service, not a manufacturer, stockist or certification body. Availability, specifications and timing require supplier confirmation.

Four fields that change the quote

Define the construction before discussing unit cost

Running socks described by one retail name can differ materially. Put measurable choices into the first RFQ so factories are answering the same request.

Fiber composition

State target fibers and percentages, or mark blends open for supplier proposal. Ask the quotation to identify the offered composition.

Knit construction

Map mesh, rib, compression and cushioning zones by location. Avoid treating “performance” as a measurable specification.

Size run

Name the US or EU system, foot-length reference, sizes and pair ratio. Request a supplier size chart for the proposed item.

Pack basis

Align pairs per retail pack, labeling, carton count, artwork and destination scope before comparing totals.

Buyer routes

One product family, different procurement decisions

Retail assortment

Separate core and seasonal colorways, define consumer pack format, and request fiber-content, origin and responsible-party labeling information for review where applicable.

Brief focus:
  • Size mix by colorway
  • Pair and carton configuration
  • Barcode and label artwork

Running event or club

Fix the decoration placement, event date, athlete size collection method and approval deadline. A visual mockup is not evidence of production fit.

Brief focus:
  • Logo dimensions and colors
  • Size allocation in pairs
  • Pre-production sample gate

Private-label program

Document repeat-order color standards, knit-zone tolerances, packaging revisions and which party approves the final sample.

Brief focus:
  • Reference sample status
  • Revision-controlled specification
  • Comparable freight scope

Start with the pair count—not a vague “bulk” request

Send variants, quantities by size, composition or acceptable alternatives, decoration, pack format, US destination and target timing. We will organize questions for possible suppliers; quotations and documents remain supplier-confirmed.
